Bowsden Bed & Breakfast is situated in the sleepy village of Bowsden close to St Cuthbert's Way. It is ideally located between the Cheviot Hills, Alnwick with its Castle and Garden and Holy Island. Berwick train station is only nine miles away with its frequent train service to both Edinburgh and Newcastle Upon Tyne (45 mins to either).

We have secure storage for bikes and there is ample off road parking. Guests can  take advantage of our drying cupboard which backs onto our Range cooker. As this is  always on to provide our guests with lots of hot water it not only dries out wet clothes and boots but also keeps them warm for the morning.

Our guests are offered tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival in the lounge.

We can provide sandwiches, soup, tea and coffee on the day of arrival for both walkers and cyclists if prebooked. Guests are welcome to use the family lounge in the evening and there is a sheltered outside seating area in which to enjoy the end of the day sunshine. Our bed and breakfast is comfortable and homely and the ideal base from which to explore the wonderful Scottish Borders and Northumberland countryside.

Dogs are welcome to stay provided all vaccinations including kennel cough are up to date. However for the comfort of our future guests they are not allowed in the bedrooms.
